1. Membership Nature
1.1 Membership at Isimi Lagos is a privilege and not a right.
1.2 Submission of a membership application does not guarantee admission into the Isimi Lagos Community.
1.3 All applications shall be subject to review, due diligence, verification, vetting, and approval by the Isimi Lagos Membership Committee.
1.4 The Membership Committee reserves the absolute right and discretion to approve, decline, suspend, revoke, renew, refuse renewal, or terminate any membership application or membership without assigning any reason.
1.5 Membership is personal to the approved member and may not be assigned, transferred, sold, pledged, or otherwise transferred to another person without the prior written consent of Isimi Lagos.
2. Community Philosophy
2.1 Isimi Lagos is a private membership-led wellness, lifestyle, hospitality, country estate, and investment community.
2.2 Membership is founded upon alignment with the values, culture, vision, standards, and objectives of Isimi Lagos.
2.3 Members acknowledge that Isimi Lagos reserves the right to curate, protect, and preserve its community, reputation, culture, hospitality standards, safety, privacy, and member experience.
2.4 Membership does not confer ownership rights, voting rights, tenancy rights, residency rights, or any proprietary interest in Isimi Lagos unless expressly granted under a separate written agreement.
3. Membership Fees & Renewal
3.1 Membership fees shall become payable only upon approval of membership.
3.2 Membership fees are separate from property acquisition costs, service charges, hospitality charges, event fees, accommodation fees, club subscriptions, or any other charges that may apply.
3.3 Membership fees may be revised by Isimi Lagos from time to time.
3.4 Membership benefits and privileges commence only after full payment has been received and confirmed.
Lifestyle Membership Renewal
3.5 Lifestyle Membership shall remain subject to annual renewal and payment of the prescribed annual membership fees.
3.6 Failure to renew membership when due shall result in immediate suspension of all membership privileges and benefits.
3.7 Where a member fails to renew their annual membership and subsequently seeks to access, utilize, reserve, attend, book, or enjoy any facility, hospitality service, event, accommodation, or membership privilege, such member shall first settle all outstanding annual membership fees and arrears accumulated during the period of non-renewal.
3.8 Outstanding membership obligations shall remain due and payable until the member formally resigns or the membership is formally terminated by the Membership Committee.
3.9 Isimi Lagos reserves the right to deny access to facilities, reservations, events, accommodations, and member benefits until all outstanding obligations have been settled.
4. Member Conduct
Members shall:
a. Treat fellow members, guests, residents, staff, contractors, service providers, and management with courtesy, dignity, and respect.
b. Refrain from abusive, threatening, offensive, disruptive, intimidating, discriminatory, defamatory, or inappropriate conduct.
c. Respect the privacy, security, comfort, and enjoyment of all members and guests.
d. Comply with all estate regulations, hospitality guidelines, safety requirements, operational policies, and community standards.
e. Protect and preserve the reputation, values, and interests of Isimi Lagos.
f. Provide accurate information in all dealings with Isimi Lagos.
5. Membership Benefits & Access
5.1 Membership benefits, privileges, discounts, invitations, access rights, hospitality offerings, events, and facilities may be modified, suspended, expanded, restricted, or withdrawn by Isimi Lagos from time to time.
5.2 No particular benefit, facility, privilege, event, hospitality offering, accommodation option, or service shall constitute a guaranteed contractual entitlement.
5.3 Access to any facility, event, accommodation, hospitality offering, wellness experience, retreat, gathering, or reservation shall remain subject to availability, operational considerations, estate policies, reservation procedures, and management approval.
6. Hospitality & Accommodation Policy
6.1 Isimi Lagos reserves the right to determine and modify the hospitality, accommodation, reservation, visitation, guest access, and booking framework applicable at any time.
6.2 Accommodation offerings may be structured around:
* Private Retreats
* Wellness Escapes
* Family & Friends Getaways
* Corporate Gatherings
* Celebratory Weekends
* Curated Lifestyle Experiences
* Group Bookings
* Member Experiences
6.3 Hospitality policies, booking requirements, minimum guest requirements, reservation procedures, and access protocols may be amended by Isimi Lagos without prior notice where operationally necessary.
6.4 Membership does not guarantee accommodation availability, room reservations, event participation, or access to any specific hospitality offering.
7. Suspension, Revocation & Termination
7.1 Membership may be suspended, revoked, terminated, or refused renewal where a member:
a. Engages in misconduct.
b. Engages in abusive, threatening, offensive, insulting, intimidating, disruptive, or inappropriate conduct.
c. Harasses, mistreats, or disrespects staff, residents, guests, contractors, service providers, management, or fellow members.
d. Makes false, misleading, malicious, defamatory, or damaging statements concerning Isimi Lagos, its operations, staff, members, investors, management, projects, or affiliates.
e. Obtains membership through misrepresentation, omission of material facts, false declarations, inaccurate information, or fraudulent conduct.
f. Acts in a manner detrimental to the reputation, culture, values, integrity, safety, harmony, or interests of Isimi Lagos.
g. Violates any estate policy, hospitality guideline, membership rule, or community standard.
h. Creates legal, operational, financial, security, reputational, or community risk.
7.2 The Membership Committee shall have sole discretion in determining whether any conduct constitutes grounds for suspension, revocation, termination, or refusal of renewal.
7.3 Decisions of the Membership Committee shall be final and binding.
8. Membership Resignation
8.1 Members may voluntarily resign by submitting written notice to the Membership Committee.
8.2 Resignation shall not automatically entitle the member to a refund.
8.3 Any outstanding fees, charges, obligations, liabilities, or arrears shall remain payable notwithstanding resignation.
9. Refund Policy
9.1 Membership fees are generally non-refundable.
9.2 However, where a membership is voluntarily discontinued by a member or terminated by Isimi Lagos within the first three (3) months from the date of activation, the Membership Committee may, at its sole discretion, approve a full or partial refund.
9.3 Approved refunds shall be processed within fifteen (15) working days following submission of valid banking details and completion of internal finance, compliance, and reconciliation procedures.
9.4 No refund shall ordinarily be available after the first three (3) months of membership activation.
9.5 Isimi Lagos reserves the right to deduct any outstanding fees, arrears, liabilities, damages, administrative charges, processing costs, or amounts owed by the member before processing any approved refund.
9.6 The Membership Committee’s decision regarding refunds shall be final.
10. Privacy & Confidentiality
10.1 Members shall maintain the confidentiality of non-public information relating to Isimi Lagos, its members, investors, residents, guests, business partners, and operations.
10.2 Members shall not disclose, publish, distribute, or misuse confidential information obtained through membership.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 Isimi Lagos shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, reputational, personal, emotional, or financial loss arising from:
* Membership decisions
* Policy amendments
* Access restrictions
* Event cancellations
* Hospitality modifications
* Facility closures
* Operational adjustments
* Reservation limitations
12. Amendments
12.1 Isimi Lagos reserves the right to amend, revise, replace, update, suspend, or withdraw any aspect of these Terms & Conditions at any time.
12.2 Continued membership or use of any membership privilege shall constitute acceptance of such amendments.
13. Acknowledgement
By submitting this application and/or paying any membership fee, the applicant confirms that they:
a. Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
b. Agree to be bound by all Membership Policies, Community Standards, Estate Regulations, Hospitality Policies, and future amendments.
c. Accept the authority and decisions of the Membership Committee.
d. Understand that membership is a privilege extended by Isimi Lagos and may be suspended, revoked, or terminated in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
e. Acknowledge that Isimi Lagos is a private community that reserves the right to curate and protect its membership, culture, standards, and overall experience.
